Belen has been known as the "Hub" City due to it's central location on the BNSF Railroad.

But "fun" transportation goes much further than that. Because of our beautiful expansive blue skies, we are also home to many SKY sports such as Skydiving, Hot Air Ballooning and private airplane rides.



We are lucky enough to be right down the road from the Belen Alexander Airport where much of this activity is available to the active tourist.

Jeep Tours of the deep canyons of the Rio Puerco Valley are just moments away- but will take you 20 million years back in time when the entire area was the ocean floor.

You are guaranteed to find prehistoric shells or other intriguing fossils on your three hour tour!
